Ack, so this is it, this is the big news I have been excitedly refraining from sharing! This thing has been in the making for a long time. Let me back up a bit! I met my friend Amanda Dumas, of Reflections by Amanda in the fall of 2010. She and I talked back and forth about our goals and the future of our photography businesses. We tossed around the idea of coming together, but didn’t know how to merge two established businesses. After much prayer and consideration, the plan fell in to place, almost effortlessly.
The doors of opportunity opened when we found an adorable little building in the center of the charming town of Elkmont, Alabama. We knew immediately, this would be our studio.
Amanda and I have been working since early fall, moving into our new location and getting set up for 2012. In case you haven’t noticed, I have been sharing a few in-studio sneak peeks and I have changed my address and location on my page, giving you subtle hints.
While Amanda and I will still remain Dawn Murph Photography and Reflections by Amanda, we will be working together on many joint ventures and will consider ourselves a team. The name of the studio is The Studio at Elkmont and you will notice details from both of our logos, which unifies this partnership. Together we are going to do great things and look forward to serving all of North Alabama and Southern Tennessee.
There will be more details to come, so be sure to stay tuned!
